Multi-award winners Whole Hog are looking for actors

When Matthew Clift from Whole Hog got in touch with us here at hjHQ a few days ago we were doubly thrilled. Not only does it mean we get the chance to help out a local theatre company,  it also presents the perfect opportunity to feature a multi award winning group who, since bursting onto the hj1act scene in 2009, have carried off a whopping eighteen awards at hj1act and over thirty awards across the whole of the one-act play festival national competitions.

Swindon based Whole Hog Productions was founded in late 2008 by four local actors and directors Matthew Clift, Ryan Gilks, Phil Regan and Steve Sprosson. Whole Hog stage one-act and full length plays and mainly  specialise in new theatre writing.

Matthew Clift is Whole Hog’s resident writer/director and occasional actor! Becky Cann also writes for Whole Hog and is the company’s leading lady on stage.

ACTORS WANTED!!

Whole Hog are about to start rehearsals for a brand new play entitled ‘Private Widdle’s Rep’ that looks at the early career of Charles Hawtrey and his time at the Swindon Repertory Theatre in the 1950’s. Find out all about it HERE

Matt says he’s looking for two actors to complete his cast:-

Male,  aged 17-23

Male, aged 50+
