Well didn’t we all have a luvverly time at what has to have been one of the best festivals in our seventy year history?! Amazing plays, fabulous audiences, a brilliant adjudicator (get to know the lovely Nick a bit more HERE),  welcoming new teams, seeing dear old friends, some super special guests, a great new venue, loads of fun prizes, balloons, bubbly, cake…it was wonderful!

So now we’ve all recovered from the celebrations (ahem!) it’s time to round up all things hj1act 2017 with a full list of all the winners and nominees. We at hjHQ did not envy adjudicator Nick Wilkes this year. SO many excellent performances! In many cases it came down to just one or two marks the standard was so high. So CONGRATULATIONS to EVERYONE who took part in this special year. You are all winners as far as we’re concerned!

But, the adjudicator did have to decide who would walk away with all the silverware, so here they are in all their hj1act splendour!
